The Hub Prize 2013!
The Hub Prize celebrates the many ways in which brand marketers, retailers and others make the brand experience come alive: online, in-store, on-the-go and elsewhere. By recognizing outstanding performance across every kind of brand experience, The Hub Prize competition promotes innovation and excellence.
Last year’s victors included McDonald’s, Safeway, Sephora, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, 7-Eleven, Staples, Whole Foods, Gallo, ConAgra, eBay, Kellogg’s, among others. Winners ranged from new products to shopper marketing campaigns to apps to e-commerce to retail concepts, store design and more, across every type of brand experience. How to Enter. Between now and July 15, 2013, candidates can enter The Hub Prize competition online for any type of excellent brand experience, at any budget level:

Judging. An independent panel of top marketers and other experts will select a total of 36 The Hub Prize contenders: 12 gold, 12 silver and 12 bronze. Our panel will also select one entry to receive the Ultimate Hub Prize as the "best of show."
Criteria. Entries will be evaluated based on brief answers to these questions:
1. What was the problem/challenge/opportunity?
2. What was your solution?
3. How did your solution improve the brand experience?
4. Was there a particular insight and corresponding emotional connection?
5. What made the solution innovative?
6. What were the results (financially or otherwise)?
7. Why does your initiative deserve to win The Hub Prize?
Supporting materials may include video, audio or images.
Eligibility. The retail experience must have been active sometime between January 1, 2012 and April 30, 2013. International entries are welcome!
Recognition. All 36 Hub Prize winners will be revealed at the Hub Brand Experience Symposium on September 11, 2013 in New York City and featured in The Hub Magazine’s November 2013 edition.
Prizes. The 36 Hub Prize winners will each receive a very special medallion designed by the legendary John S. Dykes. One "Ultimate Hub Prize" winner will claim the coveted Hub Cup.
Notification. Winners will be notified in September 2013.
Terms & Conditions. The intellectual property rights of your entry remains yours, however The Hub Magazine is free to publish all submitted materials in whole or in part, in print and electronically, in perpetuity, without payment of any kind. The Hub is not responsible for errors or omissions, but will make every effort to ensure your entry is presented accurately. The responsibility to obtain necessary approvals to enter this competition is yours.
Fees. The fee per entry is $299 for Hub "Brain Trust" and members and $359 for all non-members. Payment is by credit card only (Visa, MasterCard or American Express).
