Approximately when did your company (or client) “officially” get involved in Shopper Marketing (defined as creating a Shopper Marketing function or department)?

1. ਀ഊ 12/4/2008 7:51:00 PM I am currently at an retail consumer marketing agency, but I used to be at three other CPG companies - 1 where I was hired to start customer marketing, the one previously where I managed it, and previously to that where it all started in 1997 where I was the first Customer Marketing hire. So net/net its been more 10 years.
